Freelance Art Director

Monks Middle East is seeking a Freelance Senior Art Director to join our creative and content team in Riyadh. In this role, you will design, create, and tailor multimedia content for social-first platforms, engaging audiences across our clients' social feeds. You will combine design skills with technical knowledge to develop relevant and striking designs across various multimedia formats.

Key responsibilities include interpreting client briefs, storyboarding, preparing design concepts, producing digital collateral, creating short videos, and shaping the visual approach for our clients. You will work alongside designers, copywriters, and other audiovisual professionals to create content aligned with the social brand content strategy. Additionally, you will help shape the direction for motion graphics within the team and participate in the development of audiovisual and post-production content.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of four years of experience as a multimedia designer at a high, international level. Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken) is mandatory. Advanced understanding of motion graphic design and video editing, along with proficiency in basic shooting equipment for live coverage, interviews, social content, and video creation, is required. Experience in color correction, audio editing, and 2D and 3D animation is advantageous but not mandatory. You should be entrepreneurial, up-to-date with the latest motion design trends, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
