Front Office Manager
Divergent Technologies is seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organized Front Office Manager to serve as the face of the company at its Torrance, California office. In this role, you will manage front desk operations, welcome guests, support employee needs, and help ensure the workplace runs smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for physical security support, managing the visitor process, and maintaining security infrastructure. You will greet and check in visitors, answer and direct calls and emails, and manage scheduling and coordination of conference rooms. Additionally, you will assist with onboarding tasks, support office operations such as supply inventory and event logistics, and provide general administrative support to departments as needed.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a front desk, administrative, or customer service role. Strong verbal and written communication skills, a professional demeanor, and excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and calendar management tools like Outlook or Google Calendar is required. Experience in a manufacturing, tech, or startup environment and Spanish fluency are preferred.
Compensation for this role ranges from $32.42 to $44.58 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
