The Space Portfolio Lead at Divergent is responsible for driving revenue growth within the space sector by expanding the capabilities of the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS) across satellites, launch vehicles, and other space-related applications. This role involves defining and executing the portfolio's growth plan, qualifying opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and collaborating with internal teams to convert opportunities into contracts.

Key responsibilities include crafting and maintaining a multi-year business development strategy that aligns Divergent's offerings with key customers, targeting specific programs, and sequencing entry points with corresponding revenue and hiring plans. The role also involves shaping opportunities with government program offices and prime contractors, structuring and negotiating partnership agreements, maintaining roadmaps indicating active pursuits and resource requirements, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful program development and execution, and developing robust go-to-market plans through stakeholder identification across the Department of Defense, industrial base, and congressional leaders.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or a related technical field, along with over 10 years of experience leading new product introductions, program management, technical integration, or capture in the aerospace and defense sector. The candidate should have a proven ability to deliver on complex technical programs, manage relationships with senior-level government and industry officials, possess exceptional communication and leadership skills, demonstrate success in securing new business and executing large-scale programs, have deep familiarity with the Department of Defense acquisition lifecycle, proficiency in financial modeling of portfolio P&Ls, and familiarity with space mission areas and related hardware.

Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in an engineering discipline or a related field, an active Secret or Top Secret Clearance, over 5 years of space-related technical program management experience with the U.S. government or commercial aerospace corporations, and experience with procurement, design, and/or integration of military, civil, and/or commercial space platforms.

The compensation for this role is competitive, with a salary range of $155,500 to $213,810.
