Full-Stack Engineer, Multiplayer
Chime is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join its Spending, Savings & Investing organization, focusing on developing innovative member experiences. This role will contribute to Multiplayer projects, including Joint and Teen accounts, enabling shared financial experiences for families. Additionally, the position involves working on next-generation banking infrastructure to enhance speed, flexibility, and access to financial products.
The engineer will independently own and deliver feature-level work end-to-end, from implementation through testing and deployment. Responsibilities include building product features across backend services and client applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver member-facing capabilities, writing clean and maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to improving system performance, reliability, and scalability. The role also requires supporting the evolution of core systems and platform capabilities.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience building production-grade software with a track record of shipping user-facing features. Experience in contributing to features end-to-end, including implementation, testing, and deployment, is essential. Proficiency in building backend services and APIs, understanding service-based architectures, and working across client applications, including web (e.g., React) and mobile (e.g., React Native), is required. Familiarity with scalable systems, best practices for performance and reliability, and strong collaboration skills are also important.
The base salary for this role ranges from $133,000 to $184,000 annually, depending on location, skills, qualifications, and experience. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits.
