Full Stack Software Engineer (f/m/d)
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Awin, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional product team dedicated to enhancing the experience for advertisers on our Affiliate Marketing platform. Your role involves developing and maintaining features that are highly visible and impactful, directly influencing customer satisfaction and engagement. Collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and UX designers, you will translate user needs into technical solutions, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products.
Your primary responsibilities include writing clean, secure, and well-tested code, adhering to best-practice guidelines, and proactively advocating for technical enhancements. You will design and build solutions from scratch, refactor and extend existing applications, and autonomously drive tasks forward. Participation in code reviews, retrospectives, planning, and development sessions is essential, as is effective communication with both local and remote team members.
The ideal candidate possesses at least three years of hands-on experience in commercial Java software engineering roles, with a strong understanding of design patterns, clean code, and testing practices. Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks like Angular is required. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git, and experience with streaming and queuing solutions are also important. A positive and collaborative work ethic, eagerness to learn multiple programming languages, and successful collaboration within cross-functional teams are key attributes for success in this role.
