Fullstack Engineer
Monks is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in São Paulo, Brazil. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful features across the stack using modern tools within a collaborative environment. Reporting to an Engineering Manager, the engineer will contribute to high-impact initiatives that drive our technology vision forward.
The primary responsibilities include owning end-to-end feature delivery, from UI/UX to API and database design. The engineer will build and maintain scalable React interfaces, architect and implement APIs using NestJS and Postgres, and manage integrations with external services. Additionally, the role involves designing and implementing secure OAuth 2.0 flows and SSO, contributing to and maintaining our Docker/Kubernetes/Helm-based infrastructure, and collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers across the organization.
The ideal candidate has over 5 years of full stack development experience with strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, NestJS, and Postgres. They should be comfortable shipping across the entire stack, have experience with monorepo tooling, and possess a solid understanding of API authentication and secure integrations. In-depth knowledge of OAuth 2.0, experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm in production environments, and familiarity with domain-driven design or clean architecture patterns are also essential.
