GA Build Technician (Contract - 2nd Shift)

Harbinger Motors Inc., an American commercial electric vehicle company, is seeking a skilled Chassis Assembly Build Technician to join their dynamic 2nd shift team in Garden Grove, California. This role is pivotal in assembling and producing chassis components for the company's innovative stripped chassis, contributing to the transformation of the medium-duty EV industry.

The Chassis Assembly Build Technician will be responsible for assembling chassis components according to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring precise alignment and quality control. Key duties include installing mechanical and electrical components such as suspension systems, steering mechanisms, brakes, and wiring harnesses. The technician will conduct thorough inspections at each assembly stage, diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, maintain accurate records, adhere to safety protocols, and perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical certification or vocational training in mechanical or automotive assembly being advantageous. Proven experience in chassis assembly or a related field, preferably in the automotive industry, is required. Essential skills include proficiency in reading engineering drawings, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to use various tools, excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication, commitment to safety, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina for lifting heavy components and standing for extended periods.

This contract position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25 to $32, with standard 2nd shift hours from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am.
