General Manager, Home Loans
The General Manager, Home Loans at LendingTree is responsible for leading the Home Loans vertical, with full ownership of business performance and P&L. This role is part of a broader team of General Managers supporting LendingTree’s Home and Consumer businesses.
This person will operate in a highly matrixed environment, partnering closely with Marketing, Product, Technology, Analytics, Sales, and Finance to drive growth. The GM sets the strategic direction for the business, aligns cross-functional teams, and ensures a strong consumer-first approach across all initiatives.
Key responsibilities include owning and driving the business strategy and full P&L for the Home Loans vertical, setting priorities and executing against a clear roadmap of high-impact initiatives, and partnering cross-functionally to develop product roadmaps, business cases, and go-to-market strategies. The GM will leverage data to inform decisions, with a strong grasp of unit economics, lender performance, and consumer trends, while balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution and accountability for results.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, with home lending experience preferred. A proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving key business metrics is essential, along with experience leading in a matrixed environment and influencing cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills, the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships, and a highly analytical mindset are also required. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is necessary, with an MBA preferred.
The base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $240,000, with eligibility for an annual performance bonus.
