Global Director, Channel Sales Engineering
The Global Director of Channel Sales Engineering at Cato Networks will lead the development and execution of the company's global channel sales engineering strategy. This role involves building and scaling a world-class partner-facing technical organization to enable partners to sell, position, and deliver Cato's SASE platform with technical excellence. The position operates at the intersection of sales, product, and partnerships, driving technical alignment with strategic partners and accelerating partner-led revenue.
Key responsibilities include building and leading a global team of Channel Sales Engineers across key regions, defining and executing the global channel SE strategy aligned with Cato's partner and revenue goals, and enabling partners to independently position, demo, and deploy Cato's SASE platform. The role also involves developing structured partner enablement programs, partnering closely with Global Channel Sales, Regional Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams, and acting as the executive technical sponsor for strategic global partners.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Sales Engineering, with significant experience in channel or partner-facing roles. Proven experience in building and leading global SE or channel SE teams in high-growth environments is essential. A deep understanding of networking and security, including SASE, SSE, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust, is required. The candidate should have a strong track record of enabling partners to drive revenue in enterprise markets and experience working with VARs, MSPs, GSIs, and distribution ecosystems. Excellent executive communication and presentation skills are also necessary.
