Global Payroll Specialist - Europe and Africa

The Global Payroll Specialist - Europe and Africa is a vital member of Envoy Global, Inc.'s international payroll team, responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations for employees across the European and African regions. Envoy Global is a leading provider of immigration and workforce mobility solutions, and this position plays a crucial role in supporting the company's mission to deliver seamless international employment experiences. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with People Operations, Finance, and external payroll providers to maintain high standards in payroll processing and compliance.

Day-to-day, the Global Payroll Specialist manages the end-to-end payroll processes for multiple countries, including reviewing timesheets, auditing payroll data, validating local statutory requirements, submitting payments, and ensuring timely reporting. This role also involves responding to payroll inquiries from employees, resolving discrepancies, coordinating with in-country payroll partners, and assisting with audits. Consistent communication and collaboration with the broader People and Finance teams will be a key aspect of the job.

Candidates should have previous experience in multi-country payroll management, particularly within Europe and Africa, and a strong understanding of international statutory payroll requirements and labor laws. Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel is required, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. High attention to detail, the ability to work independently within a remote or distributed team, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also essential.
