The Global Supply Chain Manager at Peak Energy will oversee the sourcing, negotiation, and management of key mechanical and electrical components essential to the company's energy storage systems. This role is integral to the Supply Chain team, ensuring that all components meet product requirements and timelines as the company transitions from prototype builds to scaled manufacturing. Peak Energy is a pioneering American venture advancing Sodium-Ion battery systems for renewable energy storage.

Key responsibilities include sourcing and managing suppliers for components such as enclosures, sheet metal, thermal systems, high-voltage and low-voltage distribution, busbars, wire harnesses, and printed circuit board assemblies. The manager will drive supplier selection processes, negotiate contracts and pricing, and collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to influence design for manufacturability. Additionally, the role involves supporting new product introduction builds, resolving supply chain bottlenecks, and monitoring supplier performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in global supply chain management, strategic sourcing, or commodity management, preferably in the automotive, energy storage, or consumer electronics industries. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field is required. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal fabrication, stamping, welding, injection molding, wire harness manufacturing, and printed circuit board assembly is essential. Proven negotiation skills, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and exceptional communication and organizational abilities are also necessary.

The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000 annually, with actual compensation varying based on location, experience, and skills.
