Graduate Business Development Representative

Energy Exemplar is seeking a Graduate Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team in London. As a leader in energy simulation software, we empower transformative energy decisions through our award-winning platforms like PLEXOS®, Aurora, and Adapt2. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the global energy transition by engaging with stakeholders across the energy value chain.

In this position, you will research energy markets to identify prospective customers, support outbound campaigns across the EMEA region, and engage with stakeholders from utilities, consultancies, system operators, and energy developers. You will learn consultative sales methodologies, collaborate with Account Executives and Marketing teams, and attend industry conferences and networking events to generate qualified commercial opportunities.

We are looking for candidates with a degree in Energy, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, an interest in the energy transition and technology, an analytical mindset with commercial curiosity, and confidence in engaging with professionals are essential. Self-motivation and eagerness to learn are also key attributes for success in this role.
