Harness Design Engineer
Anduril Industries is seeking a Harness Design Engineer to join our team in Costa Mesa, California. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and integrating harness systems, representing the harness discipline across various projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include developing harness system block diagrams and wire diagrams, selecting appropriate connectors and cables to meet environmental requirements, and preparing assembly instructions and test procedures. You will also participate in design reviews, provide input to identify issues, and drive design choices.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing electrical harnesses for rugged applications in commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military sectors. Experience working directly with harness manufacturers to deliver high-quality, reliable products is essential. Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces such as CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, and 1553, as well as knowledge of applicable harness standards and MIL-STD requirements, is required. Strong organizational and communication skills are also necessary.
Anduril offers a competitive salary range of $98,000 to $171,000 USD for this position, along with highly competitive equity grants.
