Head, Business Operations and Alliance Management
Legend Biotech is seeking a Head of Business Operations and Alliance Management to join our Commercial team in Bridgewater, NJ. This pivotal role reports directly to the President of the Carvykti Business Unit and serves as the Strategy & Execution Lead. The position is instrumental in driving alignment, execution, and operational effectiveness across Commercial, Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS), Quality, and Medical Affairs functions.
The primary responsibilities include managing strategic alliances to ensure robust governance, seamless communication, and proactive issue resolution, thereby achieving joint CAR-T objectives. The role also encompasses leading business unit-wide engagement and communication initiatives to foster clarity and cultural cohesion across global teams. Additionally, the position focuses on capability building to enhance organizational readiness, talent development, and cross-functional effectiveness, supporting Carvykti's rapid growth and strategic priorities.
Candidates should possess an advanced degree (MBA, MS) with a background in cell therapy, biotechnology, strategy, or operations being highly desirable. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is required, with a strong emphasis on alliance management, strategy execution, business operations, and cross-functional leadership. Proven success in managing complex external partnerships and governance structures is essential. Experience in matrix organizations across Commercial, GMS, Quality, and Medical Affairs is highly desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities are also critical for this role.
The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $248,615 to $326,307 annually.
