Head of FP&A
EarnIn is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer, executive team, and other leaders to set strategy, allocate resources, optimize performance, and integrate financial insights into decision-making processes. The position reports directly to the CFO and works alongside the Controller and Treasurer to fulfill the organization's financial needs.
Key responsibilities include partnering with leadership to define and execute financial and key performance indicator (KPI) goals aligned with business strategies. The role involves leading annual financial planning and multi-year strategic planning processes, resolving competing business priorities, and conducting monthly forecasts and variance analyses. Additionally, the Head of FP&A will communicate business objectives and performance to stakeholders, provide financial analysis to support decision-making, and design and optimize FP&A processes and systems to meet the needs of a dynamic, fast-growing environment. Leading, scaling, and developing a team of high-performing finance professionals is also a critical aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an FP&A leadership role at a high-growth tech company, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Strong business partnership experience, the ability to influence and be a thought partner in all aspects of the business, and experience supporting business expansion and mergers and acquisitions are essential. Proficiency in building and optimizing cross-functional FP&A processes, implementing financial planning systems, and leveraging AI to enable process improvements is also required. Experience in consumer internet or FinTech industries, as well as public company experience including management of forecasting and guidance processes and SEC reporting, is preferred.
The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $285,000 to $350,000, plus equity and benefits. This is a hybrid role based in Mountain View, requiring in-office work two days a week.
