Head of Performance Marketing

As the Head of Performance Marketing, you will lead the development and execution of direct-to-consumer marketing strategies, focusing on expanding adoption beyond the existing property management company partnerships. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will oversee all performance marketing efforts across various channels, ensuring end-to-end conversion optimization.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing growth foundations by collaborating with analytics teams to develop attribution and incrementality testing frameworks. You will gain a deep understanding of Flex's business and unit economics to lead budget planning, forecasting, and setting ambitious targets. Your day-to-day activities will include rapidly driving out-of-network growth by initiating and optimizing channels such as digital, podcast, and TV, continuously testing creatives, messaging, and audience targeting to enhance performance. Additionally, you will define and monitor key performance metrics using analytics tools like Amplitude, Singular, and Sigma to inform data-driven marketing decisions. Partnering with the product team, you will also develop and implement referral programs and optimize the end-to-end user experience.
The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in growth or performance marketing, with a proven track record of building and scaling growth marketing initiatives in high-growth direct-to-consumer businesses, preferably within the fintech sector. A strong expertise in digital marketing across various channels is essential, along with a deep analytical mindset and experience in managing marketing budgets, forecasts, and optimizing for return on investment through A/B testing. The role requires a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment, with high attention to detail and effective communication skills with senior stakeholders. A coach-player mindset is crucial, demonstrating the ability to build a high-performing team while remaining hands-on.
Flex offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary range of $228,000 to $285,000 USD for candidates located in Tier 1 markets such as New York City and San Francisco. For candidates in other U.S. locations, compensation is adjusted based on a geographic pay differential aligned with local market conditions.
