Head of Public Policy, (Denmark, Norway, Iceland)

Wolt is seeking a Head of Public Policy to lead its policy engagement strategy across Denmark, Norway, and Iceland. This role is pivotal in fostering relationships with societal stakeholders, including policymakers, authorities, labor organizations, industry representatives, and civil organizations, to create a favorable policy environment for Wolt's operations in these countries. The position is based in Copenhagen or Oslo and reports to the Head of Public Policy, Northern Europe & EU.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing Wolt's policy engagement strategy, representing the company in interactions with various stakeholders, and ensuring Wolt's interests are represented in relevant legislative, regulatory, and societal processes. The role also involves close collaboration with communications and operations teams to provide policy input on various topics, preparing briefing materials, advising Wolt's leadership on policy matters, participating in the global policy team, and coordinating support from external agencies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of proven experience in public policy, government affairs, or a related field, along with a master's degree in social sciences, law, economics, or a similar discipline. Solid experience in leading engagements in policy processes, the ability to represent the company at the highest levels of decision-making, strategic thinking, and excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential. Fluency in Danish or Norwegian and English is required, with proficiency in at least one additional Scandinavian language considered a strong advantage. A willingness to travel frequently is also necessary.
