HR / Employee Communications Consultant
The HR / Employee Communications Consultant at Legend Biotech is a strategic communications professional responsible for leading and delivering impactful HR and employee communications. This role is part of the Human Resources team and collaborates closely with Corporate Communications to ensure alignment of employee-facing messaging with the corporate brand, Employee Value Proposition (EVP), and global brand identity.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing HR-driven communication strategies covering areas such as benefits, rewards, talent programs, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), culture, engagement, and the employee lifecycle. The consultant will create and manage internal content, including newsletters, intranet updates, emails, leadership communications, presentations, town halls, and EVP materials. Additionally, the role involves advising HR and leadership on messaging, tone, timing, and channels, acting as a communications consultant to HR stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred for senior-level positions. Experience requirements include approximately 5–7 years for a Manager role or 8–12+ years for an Associate Director role in internal, HR, or corporate communications, preferably within a biopharma, healthcare, or regulated environment. Essential skills include excellent writing, storytelling, editing, and content creation abilities, strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, and proficiency in project and program management. Experience with employee communication channels and platforms, as well as vendor or agency management, is also required.
