Hybrid Medical Assistant/Executive Assistant
Assist World is seeking a highly organized and reliable Hybrid Medical Assistant/Executive Assistant to support a healthcare provider managing two medical clinics. This remote role focuses primarily on back-office medical administration, with additional responsibilities in executive support. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable balancing clinical administrative tasks with executive assistance.
Key responsibilities include coordinating patient scheduling across multiple platforms such as ZocDoc and EMR systems, handling insurance verification and prior authorizations, managing patient communication via phone and messaging, maintaining accurate patient records, and supporting day-to-day back-office operations across two clinics. Executive assistant duties involve assisting with calendar management and meeting scheduling, supporting travel coordination and general administrative tasks, and helping manage workflow to ensure priorities are organized.
Required qualifications encompass previous experience in a U.S. medical or healthcare setting, strong knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes, experience with medical scheduling systems and EMRs, excellent communication skills both phone and written, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred qualifications include experience with eClinicalWorks, familiarity with tools such as ZocDoc, Hilo, or Azalea, prior experience in a hybrid medical admin and executive assistant role, and an understanding of HIPAA compliance.
Compensation for this full-time position ranges from $1,000 to $1,300 per month. Benefits include a 100% remote work environment, a $50 birthday bonus, a $200 testimonial bonus, and a $500 entry monthly raffle.
