Immigration Operations Specialist
The Immigration Operations Specialist (IOS) at Envoy Global plays a crucial role in supporting employment-based immigration cases by providing hands-on administrative and case support to the company's affiliate law firm. Key responsibilities include preparing correspondence, filings, and mailings for immigration petitions; scanning, uploading, and managing sensitive case documents with accuracy; supporting standard immigration case types under the guidance of senior specialists; maintaining accurate case updates in Envoy's platform; performing quality checks to ensure compliance standards; assisting with online applications and client document intake; utilizing AI and automation tools to improve efficiency; and supporting high-volume projects such as H-1B cap season.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least two years of administrative or clerical experience in a corporate environment. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is required, along with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and clear written and verbal communication abilities. A genuine interest in immigration, global mobility, or legal operations is essential.
Compensation for this full-time, on-site position in Chicago, IL, or Cincinnati, OH, ranges from $20 to $22 per hour. The role requires working on-site five days per week, with flexibility to work overtime during high-volume periods. The ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work at a computer for extended periods is also necessary.
