India Content Strategy Lead
As the India Content Strategy Lead at Canva, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing content strategies tailored specifically for the Indian market. This position involves close collaboration with the Country Manager and various cross-functional teams to ensure that Canva's content resonates with local users, driving growth, engagement, and revenue.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with Canva's business objectives in India. This entails overseeing content production, ensuring cultural relevance and quality, and optimizing content performance across various discovery channels such as search, recommendations, and editorial platforms. Additionally, you will lead editorial initiatives, identify and activate cultural moments in partnership with marketing and social teams, and build relationships with local creators to foster a thriving content ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in content strategy, regional business strategy, or similar roles within high-growth content, media, or technology companies. A deep understanding of Indian content trends and aesthetics is essential, along with a proactive, solutions-driven approach. Strong analytical skills to assess content performance, exceptional stakeholder management abilities, and experience working in dynamic environments are also key qualifications for this role.
