The Indonesia Language Manager at Canva is responsible for shaping the company's voice across all product areas in Indonesian, ensuring a culturally resonant and user-friendly experience for Indonesian speakers. This role involves translating key content, managing relationships with localization partners, and developing style guides and glossaries to maintain consistency and quality.

Key responsibilities include reviewing and evaluating translation quality, providing cultural insights, and identifying opportunities for localization improvements. The manager will also assess and source new language service providers, answer linguistic questions, and triage results from scripted testing to ensure the highest standards of localization.

The ideal candidate is a natural at writing clear, engaging content and has experience in creative writing or design. They should possess a deep understanding of the Indonesian language and culture, with the ability to adapt content to various contexts. Proficiency with CAT tools, particularly Smartling, and experience in localization within a SaaS environment are highly desirable.
