Information Security Engineer – Security Operations

Envoy Global, Inc. is seeking an Information Security Engineer to join our Security Operations team in Hyderabad, India. In this role, you will monitor and analyze security alerts from tools such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems to detect potential threats. Responsibilities include investigating and responding to security incidents like malware infections, suspicious endpoint activities, phishing attacks, and potential data exfiltration events. You will also perform incident triage, analysis, and escalation following established incident response procedures.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EDR tools such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, or SentinelOne, and familiarity with DLP technologies. A solid understanding of security incident investigation, threat detection, and endpoint security monitoring is essential. Experience with security ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira, along with a basic understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and common attacker techniques, is also required. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as good documentation and communication abilities, are necessary. Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Information Security role and hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
