EarnIn is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Lead to establish and scale internal communications as a core function of the Communications team. This role will own the strategy, systems, and execution of global internal communications to drive employee engagement, leadership alignment, cultural connection, and operational clarity across a growing, global workforce. As EarnIn continues to scale, internal communications has become a critical lever for aligning employees to company strategy, strengthening trust in leadership, and fostering a shared sense of purpose. This role will partner closely with Executive Leadership, People, and cross-functional BU leaders to translate business priorities into clear, consistent, and engaging narratives that reach all employees - wherever they are. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on building foundational infrastructure, enabling leadership communication, and creating two-way feedback loops that improve engagement, retention, and connection.

Key responsibilities include establishing internal communications as a formal, centralized function with clear ownership, systems, and measurement. The role involves building and managing a structured internal communications framework, including channels, cadence, and editorial calendar. The Internal Communications Lead will execute against the purpose, audience, and operating model for all internal communication forums such as All Hands, Town Halls, newsletters, and Slack. Additionally, the role requires re-aligning company communication touchpoints by shifting All Hands to a quarterly cadence aligned with QBRs, supported by a standardized, repeatable information-delivery framework. Developing and managing a monthly company update that translates MBRs, priorities, and wins into accessible, engaging narratives is also a key responsibility. The position involves producing and supporting Town Halls and AMAs focused on leadership Q&A, strategic deep-dives, and timely business topics.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in Internal Communications, Employee Communications, Corporate Communications, or related roles. Proven experience building or scaling internal communications in a growing or hybrid organization is essential. Strong executive presence with experience supporting senior leaders and executive teams is required. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills are necessary, along with experience managing multiple communication channels and complex messaging. The candidate should be comfortable operating both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include experience working in tech, fintech, or high-growth companies, supporting global or distributed workforces, familiarity with employee engagement measurement and pulse survey tools, experience partnering closely with People/HR teams, and strong project management and stakeholder management skills.

This is a 6-month contract position, requiring 20-30 hours per week. The role is hybrid, with the expectation of working from the Mountain View office two days per week. The hourly salary range is $50.00-$75.00.
