The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all hardware and IT assets, including servers and networking equipment. Key duties include coordinating the shipping and receiving of materials, conducting regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy, and collaborating with operations teams to optimize resource allocation. Additionally, the role involves utilizing inventory management software to document inventory movements and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
Candidates should have proven experience in inventory management or a related field, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with asset management software. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a detail-oriented approach and effective communication abilities. The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced startup environment and the physical capability to work in a data center setting, including moving and lifting heavy objects.
The base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 annually, determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
