Investment Executive
The Investment Executive role at WPP Media involves supporting the Investment Manager and Client Service Teams to deliver top-tier implementation and trading practices. The position is based in Auckland, New Zealand, and focuses on building trusted relationships with clients, media, and agency partners to provide innovative and market-leading work across both offline and digital media. The role also encompasses efficient administration procedures to ensure seamless operations.
Key responsibilities include accurately inputting media booking entries into the Pegasus system within 24 hours of confirmation, instructing key numbers with TV networks, and creating Investment Media Booking Authorisation (IMBA) documents by sourcing necessary specifications and contact details from media suppliers. The Investment Executive is also tasked with checking proformas against media plans and supplier contracts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with media owners, attending supplier presentations, and actively participating in discussions to enhance the team's understanding of the media landscape.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an investment or trading-related role, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with trading tools such as TVMAP, ETAM, and Pegasus is essential. Strong relationship management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are crucial. The candidate should also possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
