IT Operations Engineer
Applied Intuition is seeking a Systems Administrator (IT Operations) to join our team in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable IT infrastructure to support our rapidly growing organization. As part of the IT Operations team, you will provide first-line technical support to end users, ensuring that all employees can utilize technology effectively and efficiently.
Your primary responsibilities will include responding to IT help desk requests via phone, email, remote access, and onsite support, escalating complex issues to senior staff as needed. You will offer technical assistance for computer systems, networks, software, and hardware, and oversee the complete lifecycle management of all employee assets. Additionally, you will facilitate and maintain network infrastructure for office expansions and build-outs, including setup, support, and conference room technology.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in IT operations, encompassing system administration, server support, project implementation, and desktop support in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Google Workspace or other Active Directory systems is essential, along with experience supporting a broad range of computer systems, including Linux, Windows, and Mac. A solid understanding of networking protocols and equipment, such as VPN, DNS, next-generation firewalls, routers, switches, and access points, is required. Experience in deploying, integrating, and administering SaaS applications, as well as creating IT processes and procedures, is also necessary. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and hold or be eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.
Compensation for this full-time position includes a base salary ranging from $85,000 to $110,000 annually, along with equity and comprehensive benefits.
