IT Operations Engineer
As an IT Operations Engineer at Zip Co Limited, you will be a key member of the Corporate IT team, responsible for ensuring seamless, secure, and reliable technology experiences across the organization. This role is pivotal in supporting internal teams by managing devices, networks, and systems to enable Zipsters to perform their best work daily.
Your primary responsibilities will include engineering, maintaining, and optimizing IT systems, networks, and applications. You will provide real-time support for IT incidents, service requests, and inquiries, ensuring minimal downtime and swift resolution of issues. Monitoring system performance and capacity to guarantee reliability and uptime will be a crucial part of your day-to-day activities. Additionally, you will contribute to automation initiatives by developing scripts and improving processes, as well as maintaining accurate documentation of IT processes, configurations, and systems.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in IT operations, supporting enterprise systems, networks, and end-user environments. A strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and TCP/IP, is essential. Hands-on experience with monitoring and incident management tools such as ServiceNow, Datadog, or Splunk is required. Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate tasks and improve efficiency is also necessary. Experience managing Windows and macOS environments, including device management and configuration, is highly desirable.
