As a Senior Analyst in Credit Risk at Zip Co Limited, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, pricing, and scaling consumer credit products, particularly focusing on Cash Flow Intelligence initiatives and emerging offerings like Cash Advance. A key aspect of this role involves effectively communicating complex analytical findings to senior stakeholders, tailoring messages for both technical and non-technical audiences. Key responsibilities include developing and refining credit underwriting strategies using both traditional and alternative data sources, such as cash flow data. You will build and maintain unit economics and valuation models to inform decisions on pricing, underwriting, targeting, and capital allocation. Additionally, you will lead the development and implementation of credit policies, design and interpret live tests across various product features and customer acquisition strategies, and enhance portfolio monitoring and loss forecasting capabilities. Applying AI-assisted analytics and modeling techniques to accelerate insight generation while maintaining explainability and risk discipline is also a crucial part of this role. The ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years of experience in a credit risk or analytics role within a consumer credit business, such as credit cards, installment lending, or buy now, pay later services. A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field like engineering, mathematics, economics, or finance is required. Proficiency in SQL is essential, along with advanced experience in data tools such as Python, Excel, R, SAS, or PySpark. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau is a plus. Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively convey insights and recommendations to diverse audiences.
