Key responsibilities include providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for hardware, software, and SaaS tools, managing the helpdesk ticketing system, and administering platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Okta. The role also encompasses maintaining IT asset inventories, overseeing device lifecycle management, and coordinating equipment procurement. Additionally, the specialist will manage the physical office environment, ensuring meeting rooms are prepared, AV setups are functional, and facilities are well-maintained. This includes managing vendor relationships, coordinating office supplies, and supporting logistics for team events and visiting staff.
Candidates should possess 2-4 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or workplace operations roles. Proficiency in administering Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, along with experience in managing Slack and Zoom configurations, is essential. Familiarity with identity and access management tools like Okta or JumpCloud, as well as MDM platforms such as Jamf or Intune, is required. A strong service-oriented mindset, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to handle onboarding and offboarding processes are also important.
Banyan Software offers a competitive salary range of CAD $70,000 to $95,000 annually, which includes an annual bonus and equity options when applicable.
