Java Engineer - Networking Group

Cato Networks is seeking a passionate and experienced Java Engineer to join our dynamic Networking Group. As a pioneer in converging enterprise networking and security into a unified cloud-based service, Cato Networks offers an innovative environment for professionals eager to shape the future of cloud networking and security.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of solutions, encompassing design, implementation, testing, rollout, and monitoring. You will drive the development of highly efficient and scalable designs, lead collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams, and research and adopt new technologies to enhance our offerings.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing backend and control plane systems, with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot. A solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, in-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and software engineering principles, and experience with both NoSQL and relational databases are essential. Familiarity with microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and front-end technologies like React and TypeScript is advantageous. A B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
