Junior Application Engineer
As a Junior Application Engineer at Applied Intuition, you will serve as a vital link between our customers and engineering teams, ensuring the successful implementation and utilization of our products. Applied Intuition is a leading company in the field of physical AI, providing digital infrastructure for autonomous vehicles across various industries, including automotive, defense, and agriculture. This role is based in our Munich office, where you will collaborate closely with both clients and internal teams to drive customer success.
In this position, your primary responsibilities will include conducting office hours and providing first-line support to address customer inquiries and technical issues. You will manage requests from customer teams, ensuring they derive maximum value from our products, and lead workstreams to support groups of users in customer engagements. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting bugs, submitting feature requests, and coordinating with engineering teams to resolve customer issues effectively.
The ideal candidate has recently completed a Master's degree in Robotics, Autonomy, or a related field. Experience interacting with end-customers as an application engineer or developer is essential. Strong communication skills, an acute attention to detail, and an execution-focused mindset are crucial. Proficiency in debugging and working with Python, C++, and Linux environments is required, along with experience in quality assurance and a desire to grow both customer-facing and engineering skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience working with automotive OEMs or suppliers through internships, thesis projects, or student jobs. Prior work in autonomous vehicle or robotics development domains, as well as experience with software simulation or data tooling, is advantageous.
