Lead Architect, Sentry Hardware
Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Architect for the Sentry Hardware Platform to join our Air and Ground Deterrence (AGD) Division in Irvine, California. This role involves leading the development of ruggedized hardware systems that provide autonomous situational awareness across various domains, including land, sea, and air. The Sentry Architecture Team focuses on creating scalable, mission-ready solutions that meet the performance and reliability demands of the U.S. Military and other key stakeholders.
The Lead Architect will be responsible for guiding the technical execution from initial design through fabrication, testing, and production of hardware systems and platforms. Key responsibilities include developing platforms that support expeditionary operations, intuitive setup for warfighters, and modular sensor expansion. The role also involves defining product milestones, leading technical design reviews, managing engineering risks, and coordinating the fabrication of prototypes and low-rate production articles.
Candidates should possess a self-starter mentality with high ownership and a mission-oriented approach. Required qualifications include experience in a senior role leading system design and development from concept through testing and delivery, familiarity with mechatronic design, firmware and software system design, sensor physics, and data-backed decision-making. A bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field is required, along with eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
The salary range for this position is $166,000 to $220,000 annually.
