Lead Solutions Consultant
Braze is seeking a Lead Solutions Consultant to join our Retail segment, supporting the Americas book of business. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to prospective customers during the sales process, bringing extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to each engagement. This position requires travel up to 50% at peak times and is based in our Chicago office.
As a Lead Solutions Consultant, you will own the technical sales motion for a set of Retail accounts, from discovery through close. Your responsibilities include running structured discovery to uncover customer goals, delivering tailored product demonstrations, designing and supporting technical validations, and collaborating with Account Executives and segment leadership on account strategy. Additionally, you will partner with Security, Legal, Product, and Services teams to address risk and implementation considerations.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with the ability to present confidently to both technical and business stakeholders. You should be comfortable leading complex sales cycles and navigating ambiguity with structure and good judgment. Experience selling into enterprise accounts with sophisticated evaluation processes is essential, along with domain knowledge in areas such as AI, SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Marketing Analytics, Data and Architecture, Security and Compliance, or Programming (including HTML). An interest in mentoring others and improving team sales processes is also important.
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $115,100 and $142,870 per year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $164,400 and $204,100 per year, including bonus or commission.
