Braze is seeking a Lead Solutions Consultant to join our Retail segment, supporting our Americas book of business. As a trusted advisor during the sales process, you will bring extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to each engagement. This role involves leading complex evaluations end-to-end, serving as a technical leader within the Retail segment, and mentoring the Solutions Consulting team to ensure high-quality execution.

In this position, you will own the technical sales motion for a set of Retail accounts, from discovery through close. Your responsibilities include conducting structured discovery to uncover customer goals and constraints, delivering tailored product demonstrations and technical deep dives, and designing technical validations that build customer confidence in Braze's capabilities. Collaboration with Account Executives and cross-functional teams is essential to address risks, implementation considerations, and customer-specific requirements.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with the ability to present confidently to both technical and business stakeholders. You should be comfortable leading complex sales cycles and navigating ambiguity with structure and good judgment. Experience selling into enterprise accounts with sophisticated evaluation processes is required, along with domain knowledge in areas such as AI, SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Marketing Analytics, Data and Architecture, Security and Compliance, or Programming (including HTML). An interest in mentoring others and improving team sales processes is also important.

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $115,100 and $142,870 per year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $164,400 and $204,100 per year, including bonus or commission. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all employees own a piece of our company.
