Braze is seeking a Lead Solutions Consultant to join our Paris office, focusing on the Americas-based team. This role is integral to our Solutions Consulting team, a group of technical storytellers who operate at the intersection of technology and sales. As a Lead Solutions Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to prospective customers, bringing extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to bear. Your primary objective will be to build prospective customer confidence in Braze's capabilities and team, laying strong foundations for long-term partnerships.

In this position, you will be responsible for leading complex pre-sales opportunities, owning the technical sales motion from discovery through closure. This includes conducting structured discovery to uncover customer goals and constraints, delivering tailored product demonstrations and workshops, and designing technical validations that build customer confidence. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives and segment leadership on account strategy, partner with cross-functional teams to address risk and implementation considerations, and ensure seamless handoffs to post-sales teams by aligning on solution scope and success criteria early.

The ideal candidate will possess exemplary written and verbal communication skills, coupled with unparalleled follow-up abilities. You should be known for being a team player and have a high level of intellectual curiosity, seeing opportunity and growth in learning more about your role and its impact on others. Experience selling into accounts with a sophisticated pre-sales consulting or sales engineering team is essential. Additionally, domain knowledge in two or more of the following areas is required: SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Direct Marketing, Marketing Analytics, or Programming (even just HTML).
