Rocket Lab Corporation is seeking a Lead Trainer to join our team at the Space Structures Complex in Middle River, Maryland. As a key player in our mission to open access to space, the Lead Trainer will develop and deliver hands-on training programs to ensure technicians are proficient in aerospace manufacturing, assembly, and repair processes. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The Lead Trainer will be responsible for creating and implementing training programs focused on aerospace-grade materials, including prepregs, resins, fibers, core materials, and adhesives. They will ensure that all training emphasizes compliance with aerospace standards, engineering drawings, and specifications. Additionally, the role involves evaluating technician proficiency through practical assessments and supporting onboarding, recurrent training, and cross-training initiatives.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma and have over 10 years of experience in manufacturing or a related industry. Experience in training, developing, and implementing learning strategies is essential. Proficiency with tools such as pneumatic tools, calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments is required. Familiarity with drilling, laminating, and assembly prints, as well as experience working with material data sheets, is also necessary.

Rocket Lab offers a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $35 to $43.75 per hour, determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
