Lead Value Engineer - Energy
Celonis is seeking a Lead Value Engineer specializing in the Energy sector to drive data-driven business transformations for major energy and utility companies. This role involves acting as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them achieve strategic goals and realize significant value through the Celonis Process Intelligence platform. The position requires a deep understanding of energy operations and the ability to link process intelligence to key operational and financial outcomes.
Key responsibilities include translating client strategic priorities into AI-driven improvement use cases across the energy value chain, such as predictive maintenance workflows and supply chain optimization. The Lead Value Engineer will construct robust, data-backed business cases, develop value narratives, and present directly to C-level stakeholders to generate substantial opportunity pipelines. Additionally, the role involves leading value workstreams by designing and deploying AI-powered feedback agents, orchestrating process improvements, and facilitating workshops with executive and departmental leaders.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in the Energy sector, particularly in Oil & Gas or Utilities, with a background in management consulting, strategy, or operations transformation. Proficiency in AI and automation solutions, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build and present compelling business cases are essential. Experience in leading customer-facing value discovery and proof-of-value projects for global Tier-1 energy and utility corporations is highly desirable.
