Legal Administrative Assistant
Wilson Elser is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join its Charlotte office. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative and litigation support to a team of attorneys within a dynamic law firm environment. The firm, established in 1978, is a leading defense litigation law firm with over 1,400 attorneys across 46 offices nationwide.
The Legal Administrative Assistant will be responsible for preparing and formatting legal documents, managing electronic filings in state and federal courts, and coordinating new matter openings and closings. Additional duties include maintaining case calendars, scheduling conferences and depositions, and handling billing support tasks such as inputting attorney time and processing vendor invoices.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least three years of administrative experience, preferably within a law firm or litigation environment. Familiarity with legal terminology, document formatting, and court procedures is essential. Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and professional communication abilities are also required.
