The Paralegal will play a critical role in case preparation by obtaining medical records through authorizations and subpoenas, ensuring timely follow-ups with providers. Responsibilities include maintaining and streamlining case data with well-structured discovery and records organizational charts, conducting vital research by issuing Open Public Records Requests, and performing background investigations to support litigation strategy. Additionally, the role involves supporting attorneys in depositions and discovery by summarizing transcripts, managing key documents, and ensuring timely follow-ups on requests.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree, with a Paralegal Certificate preferred, and have at least 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in insurance defense. Exceptional writing and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while balancing multiple tasks with precision and efficiency. Proficiency in drafting subpoenas, maintaining detailed records, and utilizing legal research tools and case management software is also required.
