Wilson Elser is seeking a Legal Auditor to join our national Quality Assurance and Client Audit Services team. This role involves reviewing active case files to capture key data points and assess file handling practices. The position offers a flexible remote working arrangement and can be based in any state where Wilson Elser has an office. We are considering candidates for both full-time and part-time positions.

Key responsibilities include reviewing files within our cloud-based document management and time entry systems, accurately capturing data, evaluating file handling to identify exceptional efforts and areas for improvement, and engaging in calibration exercises. Strong analytical and communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will possess a J.D. from an accredited law school and have at least 5 years of litigation experience, with a preference for those with insurance defense backgrounds. Auditing experience at an insurance carrier is a plus. While a current license is not required, the license must have been in good standing at the time it lapsed. Self-motivation, acute attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are crucial.
