Legal Assistant
Sterlington PLLC is a full-service law firm specializing in complex corporate, litigation, executive compensation, and private wealth matters. The firm emphasizes both the economic and legal aspects of its cases, catering primarily to founders, senior executives, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. The Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the firm's partners and attorneys, ensuring efficient execution of client matters and internal projects.
Key responsibilities include capturing time entries, creating narratives, and supporting client billing processes. The role also involves managing calendars and inboxes, planning travel, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate templates and folders on SharePoint and other systems. Additionally, the Legal Assistant will support various administration-focused projects aimed at increasing team efficiency and effectiveness.
Candidates should have at least three years of senior administrative support experience in a professional environment, with remote work experience being a plus. A background in law firms or professional services is desirable. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is required, along with excellent organizational and project management skills. The ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and to remain poised under pressure is essential.
