Senior Financial Analyst
Sterlington PLLC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a full-service law firm specializing in complex corporate, litigation, executive compensation, and private wealth matters, we emphasize both the economic and legal aspects of our work. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, and other essential financial functions. Key duties involve preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing month-end close processes, reviewing the general ledger, and performing reconciliations. Additionally, the role includes producing detailed monthly financial reports to provide insights to senior management, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in adherence to established calendars.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, with a strong foundation in financial analysis and reporting. A comprehensive understanding of US GAAP is essential, and prior experience in internal or external audit is desirable. Proficiency in accounting ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Oracle, along with advanced skills in MS Excel and the broader MS Office Suite, is required. Experience with AI, automation, or advanced financial technologies is also advantageous.
