Senior Financial Analyst

Sterlington PLLC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a full-service law firm specializing in complex corporate, litigation, executive compensation, and private wealth matters, we emphasize both the economic and legal aspects of our work. In this position, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting. Responsibilities encompass preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing month-end close processes, reviewing the general ledger, and performing reconciliations. Additionally, you will produce detailed monthly financial reports to provide insights to senior management, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and coordinate with external tax preparers to ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong foundation in financial analysis and reporting. Proficiency in US GAAP is essential, and prior experience in internal or external audit is desirable. Technical skills should include extensive hands-on experience with accounting ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Oracle, as well as advanced proficiency in MS Excel and the broader MS Office Suite. Experience with AI, automation, or advanced financial technologies is also valued.
