Legal Counsel

The Legal Counsel position at Bosch's Home Comfort division in North America offers an opportunity to join a dynamic legal team within a globally recognized technology and services company. This role is integral to supporting the division's operations, focusing on litigation management and providing comprehensive legal guidance across various business functions.

Key responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of litigation, such as commercial disputes and product liability claims, by developing and implementing effective litigation strategies and managing external counsel. The role also involves offering legal advice on commercial and corporate matters, including contracts, marketing initiatives, and regulatory compliance, as well as assisting in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures. Additionally, the Legal Counsel will provide legal training to business clients and handle other assigned legal matters.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice law in Texas. A minimum of seven years of litigation experience, including significant tenure at a reputable law firm, is required. In-house experience, particularly in manufacturing, automotive, technology, or related industries, is strongly preferred. Essential skills include a strong understanding of litigation strategy, discovery management, and risk assessment, as well as experience in managing outside counsel and litigation budgets. Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills are also necessary.
