The Licensing Manager at Oklo plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the company's advanced fission power plants meet all U.S. nuclear regulatory requirements. The Licensing Manager is instrumental in developing documentation to support both pre-application activities and license application submissions.

Key responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and maintaining licensing documents and related programs for Oklo's reactor technologies. The role requires planning and executing complex assignments within a team environment, supporting project management of licensing activities, and coordinating with design engineers to ensure regulatory compliance. Additionally, the Licensing Manager will interface with nuclear regulators, prepare and defend Oklo's licensing positions, and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, with relevant experience considered. Essential qualifications include demonstrated coordination skills, the ability to earn trust within a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to manage complex projects with various stakeholders. Knowledge of 10 CFR 50 and 10 CFR 52, along with NRC Regulatory Guides, is highly desirable.
