Litigation Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in New Haven, Connecticut. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a lead attorney and legal assistant, providing comprehensive support throughout all phases of litigation. This position offers competitive compensation and a generous bonus plan.

As a Litigation Paralegal, your primary responsibilities will include preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. You will be responsible for e-filing court documents in both state and federal courts, conducting legal research and factual investigations, and preparing discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Additionally, you will coordinate and summarize depositions, prepare trial binders and exhibits, and assist attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate’s Degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with at least two years of experience as a litigation paralegal or in legal services under an attorney in a law firm setting. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, first-party, medical malpractice, or other injury-related practice areas is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential. This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
