Presuit Secretary

Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and sending client correspondence with accuracy and professionalism. The role also involves managing the file closing process, which encompasses verifying the completeness and organization of documentation, processing final communications, and archiving closed files in compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Presuit Secretary maintains accurate client records and assists attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks related to case closure and client communication.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with an associate or bachelor's degree in legal studies or a related field preferred. A paralegal certificate is advantageous. A minimum of two years' experience as a legal assistant, litigation assistant, or administrative assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute, is essential. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
The position offers an hourly wage of $23 and includes benefits such as medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
