Litigation Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Tampa, Florida. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with our attorneys, providing essential support before, during, and after trials. This role is integral to our mission of advocating for clients in medical malpractice cases.

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. You will e-file court documents in both state and federal courts, conduct legal research and factual investigations, and prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Additionally, you will coordinate and summarize depositions, prepare trial binders and exhibits, and assist with case settlements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in medical malpractice litigation, possess an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, and have at least two years of litigation experience. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred. Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
