Nelson Mullins, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its downtown Los Angeles office. This position supports attorneys handling a range of toxic tort matters and offers hands-on involvement across all phases of the litigation lifecycle.

In this role, you will support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, including case preparation, discovery management, and trial readiness. Responsibilities include maintaining and monitoring court deadlines, preparing and filing documents through ECF, conducting legal research using tools such as PACER and Westlaw, drafting pleadings, notices, and motions, organizing and managing deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries, and tracking document productions and discovery. You will also assist with deposition coordination, communicate with courts, outside counsel, clients, and experts, and contribute to case strategy meetings.

Requirements include 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm, including exposure to toxic tort, product liability, or complex litigation matters; experience with e-filing (ECF), PACER, Westlaw, and managing discovery and trial preparation; and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate preferred (relevant experience may be substituted).
